ChairMentor Editorial Team

ChairMentor's editorial team researches massage chairs using manufacturer specifications, published documentation, retailer listings and verified owner feedback. Individual bylines appear once a named contributor is credited.

How this byline researches

  1. 1Specifications come from the manufacturer's own documentation first, then the retailer listing. Where the two disagree, the page says so rather than picking the more flattering number.
  2. 2Every core specification — roller type, track length, user height and weight limits, warranty — must carry a citation and a verification date before a review is cleared for publishing.
  3. 3Recommendations are built from published specifications and the fit requirements they imply. Where a judgement is editorial rather than documented, it is written as a judgement.
  4. 4Chairs are labelled Research Review unless a verified hands-on testing record exists, in which case they are labelled Tested by ChairMentor. The two are never blurred.
  5. 5Owner feedback is used to flag recurring reliability and service patterns, never to manufacture a score or stand in for measurement.
