Our Take
Our editorial assessment of this chair, based on verified specifications rather than hands-on testing. This is a Research Review.
The Super Novo 2.0 is Human Touch's flagship on price. Human Touch publishes an S- and L-track system with 3D rollers (and 4D-style programs), three zero-gravity positions, 38 auto programs, app and voice control, heat at the feet, calves and a dual lumbar zone, and a 285 lb user limit.
Two numbers people look for are not in the Human Touch sources we checked: a track length and an airbag count. The 38 on the product page is the number of auto programs, not airbags. We have not verified a model-specific user height range for the 2.0 in the sources checked, so fit should be confirmed in person.
Our editorial assessment: the chair's case rests on its convertible track, lower-body heat, 2-inch rear clearance and software. Against the cheaper Certus, which also runs a convertible S/L track and carries the same standard 5/3/1 warranty tiers, the Super Novo's premium buys voice and app control and three published zero-gravity positions; we have not verified the Certus's zero-gravity count.
Where it fits in the Human Touch range
The Super Novo 2.0 sits at the top of Human Touch's published range on price. Its hardware overlaps the Certus (both convertible S/L track, same standard warranty tiers); the difference is software, voice control and a third zero-gravity stage.
Same recorded price or less
- Human Touch CertusAbout $2,000 less than the Super Novo 2.0A convertible S/L track, heat at the lumbar, calves and feet, a similar 2-inch rear clearance and the same standard 5/3/1 warranty tiers, for less money.
- Osaki OS-Ai Vera 4D+About $3,000 less than the Super Novo 2.04D rollers on an SL track at a lower recorded price, if roller hardware matters more than interface.
What you’re really paying for
Against the cheaper Certus and against 4D chairs at similar money, here is what the Super Novo premium covers, based on Human Touch's published specifications.
- Voice control and the Human Touch appAlexa voice control and Android/iOS app control are documented. Useful if you will actually change programs that way.
- Convertible S- and L-trackThe track can follow the spine or continue under the seat. Human Touch does not publish its length.
- Foot, calf and dual lumbar heatLower-body heat plus two lumbar zones, per the product page.
- 2-inch rear clearanceBoth need about 2 in behind: 2 in per the Super Novo 2.0 page, and 2 in (plus 5 in in front) per Human Touch's current Certus support article.
- 38 auto programsOverrated at this priceA program count, not an airbag count. Program libraries are hard to compare across brands.
Who it suits, who should skip it
A software-forward chair with a convertible S/L track, foot, calf and dual lumbar heat, and only 2 inches of rear clearance. Research Review: specifications are from Human Touch's product page, comparison chart, manual and warranty page, and are dated.
Best for: Convertible S/L-track coverage with voice and app control. Skip it if you fall outside the stated fit (Not verified in sources checked, up to 285 lb), cannot give it 2" of wall clearance, or would rather spend less — our budget guides cover cheaper verified chairs.
Buying trade-offs from the published specs
- We have not verified a model-specific user height range for the Super Novo 2.0 in the sources checked. Track length is not a fit rating, so confirm roller reach at the shoulders in person or with the seller before buying.
- It needs only 2 in. behind the backrest to recline, so it can sit close to a wall.
- Its stated user weight limit is 285 lb; 13 chairs we publish list a higher limit.
- 5 other 3D chairs we publish have a lower recorded price, so the premium has to be justified by fit, warranty or features.
- Warranty as published: 5-year limited standard (5 years structural, 3 years parts, 1 year labor); a paid extended plan offers 5/5/5. Compare labor, parts and structure tiers separately.
Massage system
Rollers and track: 3D rollers on a SL track. More roller axes add depth and rhythm control; track shape decides how far down the body the rollers travel.
Air, feet and calves: an unverified number of airbags; foot rollers yes, calf rollers not verified. Airbag counts are not comparable across brands without placement data.
Heat, recline and programs: heat at feet, calves, lumbar (dual); 3 zero-gravity position(s); stretch programs yes; body scanning yes.
We have not measured pressure, noise or heat output on this chair; these figures are the manufacturer's.
Controls and app
Voice control: Yes. Bluetooth: Yes. Manufacturer app: Yes.

Stated user height: Not verified in sources checked. Maximum user weight: 285 lb.

Frequently asked questions about the Human Touch Super Novo 2.0
Answers are generated from the same cited specifications shown above. Where a figure is not published by the manufacturer, we leave the question out rather than guess.
- What is the weight limit on the Human Touch Super Novo 2.0?
- The published maximum user weight is 285 lbs. That figure is a structural limit for the frame and airbags, not a comfort rating — shoulder and hip width matter just as much for fit.
- How much space does the Human Touch Super Novo 2.0 need behind it?
- Human Touch publishes a 2" wall clearance requirement. Measure from the finished wall — baseboards and outlet covers count against that gap.
- What are the dimensions of the Human Touch Super Novo 2.0?
- Upright, the published footprint is 63" L x 34" W x 46" H; fully reclined it measures 74" L x 34" W x 32" H. Check doorways and stair turns before delivery — the chair weighs 313 lbs.

- Does the Human Touch Super Novo 2.0 have foot rollers, and can they be turned off?
- Yes. The Super Novo 2.0 manual (printed p. 24) documents an underfoot roller speed setting of Slow, Medium, Fast or Off.
- Where does the Human Touch Super Novo 2.0 apply heat?
- Human Touch publishes heat at: feet, calves, lumbar (dual). Other areas are not listed as heated in the sources we cite.
- What warranty comes with the Human Touch Super Novo 2.0?
- Human Touch publishes: 5-year limited standard (5 years structural, 3 years parts, 1 year labor); a paid extended plan offers 5/5/5. Warranty terms often differ between the manufacturer and individual retailers, so confirm the coverage on the invoice you actually sign.
- How much does the Human Touch Super Novo 2.0 cost?
- We recorded $10,999 at Human Touch (direct) on 2026-09-27. Prices change often; confirm the current price and stock with the seller.
- Has ChairMentor tested the Human Touch Super Novo 2.0?
- This is a Research Review. Every specification on this page is cited to Human Touch's own documentation and dated, but we have not sat in this chair, so we do not rate comfort, noise or long-term reliability.

- 2026-09-27Correction from the current Human Touch product page, comparison chart, manual and consumer warranty page: track is S- and L-track (not S-only); heat covers feet, calves and dual lumbar; dimensions, 313 lb chair weight, 5/3/1 warranty tiers and $10,999 price updated. Removed an unsupported 44-inch track, a 38-airbag count (38 is the auto-program count) and a height range we could not source.
