About
Expert guidance for finding the right massage chair
ChairMentor helps consumers compare massage chairs based on comfort, massage technology, body fit, features, build quality, warranty, value and real-world usability.
What we publish
Product assessments, side-by-side comparisons, buying guides and plain-language explainers on massage chair technology. Everything is built on a single product database, so a specification changed in one place updates everywhere it appears.
How we describe what we know
We are explicit about our sources. Where we have not physically used a chair, the review says so and is labelled a Research Review based on manufacturer specifications, published documentation and verified owner feedback. We do not invent testing results, owner experiences, awards or credentials.
Who writes it
- ChairMentor Editorial Team — Massage chair specifications, Comparison methodology, Buying guidance, Retailer and warranty terms, Ownership costs and maintenance
Who is responsible for ChairMentor
ChairMentor is managed by Ben Trapskin, who is responsible for its editorial standards, corrections and commercial relationships. Reviews and guides are published under the ChairMentor Editorial Team byline; an individual byline appears only when a named contributor wrote the piece.
Disclosure: Ben Trapskin also owns Yawnder, a retail business. Readers should know about that relationship when reading our buying advice. Where a page links to a retailer, the link and any commercial relationship with that retailer are disclosed on the page and in our affiliate disclosure.
Nothing on ChairMentor should be read as a claim of hands-on testing unless a review is explicitly labelled Showroom Evaluated or Tested by ChairMentor; at present every review is a Research Review.
