What actually separates them
- Track: The Certus publishes a 50-inch convertible S/L track — you choose whether the stroke continues under the seat. The Jupiter LE's 49-inch L track always does. Convertibility is the Certus's clearest structural advantage.
- Fit range: Titan publishes 5'0"–6'6", Human Touch 4'11"–6'4". The Certus reaches an inch lower, the Jupiter LE two inches higher — that ceiling matters more, because tall users are the ones chairs usually fail.
- Wall clearance: Human Touch publishes zero required clearance against Titan's 3.2 inches. In a tight room that is a real difference.
- Warranty: Five years structural with three years of parts from Human Touch, against three years limited with one year of in-home labour from Titan. This is where most of the price gap lives.
- Connectivity: The Jupiter LE publishes Bluetooth and voice control; the Certus publishes neither. The cheaper chair is the better-connected one.
Who should buy which
Titan Jupiter LE Premium: Choose the Titan Jupiter LE if you are tall, the budget matters, or you want heat across four zones and voice control at a price the Certus cannot approach.
Human Touch Certus: Choose the Human Touch Certus if the chair has to sit flat against a wall, if the primary user is under about 5'2", or if the longer warranty and convertible track are worth roughly $5,000 to you.
Our verdict
The Jupiter LE is the better value by a wide margin; the Certus is the better-supported chair with the more flexible track. If service depth and placement are not constraints, the price gap is hard to justify on specifications alone.
